I engineered a lot of this album at Peter Gabriel’s studio Real World. George Acogny was the producer.

I mixed various tracks in Paris at Guillaume Tell studios. I remember setting each mix up, then Youssou would arrive in the evening to check the mix. He was always happy but insisted on re-singing every song. Never ideal when you’ve just finished a mix!
