Recorded at “El Cortijo” studios in the south of Spain & “Park Gates” studio in South England.

Had a lot of fun recording this band, Isabel will go down in the record books as being “how a female rock ‘n’ roll Lead Singer should behave”! She was great and I also got the chance to work with Thom Yorke, which was a great experience.

I remember the first time he came down to the studio to sing on the song, it didn’t sound anything like him, as it was far too low in pitch for him. We re-recorded the song, then the following week he came down to the studios again. This time I was ready as he sang so loud the previous week, it had distorted! & he’s a 1 take man.

El President was a top 20 hit.
